The Children’s Museum in Oak Lawn’s Stars and Stripes Gala will honor the Oak Lawn Fire Department and Oak Lawn Police Department. Here are some shots of First Responder vehicles that were installed in the Museum this past year. Museum visitors can experience and learn about what our First Responders do every day for the community. Proceeds from the Gala will support the “We the People” exhibit, currentlly under construction.

Also honored will be Jerry Hurckes, Congressman Lipinski’s Chief of Staff.  The Gala will be at the Oak Lawn Hilton on Saturday, April 21, 2012. For more information, please contact the Children’s Museum at (708) 423-6709 and tell them Monumenal Oak Lawn sent you!
