Where Jim Cornelison went after singing at our Dedication

Screen shot 2011-09-11 at 9.37.58 PM

Jim really sang his heart out for Oak Lawn’s First Responders today at our Oak Lawn Rotary’s 9/11 First Responder Dedication. Those in attendance were moved to tears. Thanks so much Jim!

Here’s a video of him singing at Soldier’s Field immediately after, for the Bears opener. If you look closelly, you can see the Oak Lawn Rotary 9/11/11 pin still on his lapel.

Thank you Oak Lawn!

It was an extremely moving dedication this morning, and your Monumental Team wanted to extend their deepest gratitude to the entire Oak Lawn Community for their support of this project.

On this sad anniversary in American history, a powerful statement of hope, resilience and gratitude was made in Oak Lawn. Thank you to the hundreds that came out to commemorate this day and also let our First Responders know that Oak Lawn appreciates their sacrifices.
