Bronze Sculptor Erik Blome

Erik Blome, a San Franscisco sculptor has agreed to incorporate these beams into an enduring monument that will speak to this generation, and those to follow.  His work is amazing!   Here’s his website:

Check it out!  The final memorial will have steel from the WTC beams, stainless steel and bronze.  It will be the most important new memorial and sculpture in Southwestern Chicagoland in decades.
